This fundraiser was the brainchild of Davis City Councilman Lucas Frerichs and his wife Stacie, who were part of the Travel with a Purpose group/November 2013. They were joined in planning by the other travelers in the group, plus the helpful guidance of other Davis sites.
The goal of raising $12,000 to construction a girl’s dormitory at Nget Pyaw Daw Monastic School was successfully accomplished!
